Episode 3 - Who Am I? How to Define Yourself Beyond Roles, Labels & What You Do

Resources:

Your Ways to Engage with this FEEL conversation:

1. Name 3 roles you hold. Then ask: “Who am I without this role?”

Maybe you're a mother.

A wife.

A leader.

A caregiver.

A daughter.

An employee.

A business owner.

Those roles can be incredibly meaningful parts of your life.

But they aren't the entirety of who you are.

So take three of your roles and get curious:

Who am I when I'm not fulfilling this role?

2. Identify one label you've carried that may no longer fit.

Maybe you've always been “the responsible one.”

“The strong one.”

“The easy one.”

“The helper.”

“The peacemaker.”

“The one who has it all together.”

Maybe that label once fit.

Maybe part of it still does.

But ask yourself:

Do I still want this label to define me?

You don't have to judge the woman who carried it.

Just get curious about whether it still fits the woman you are today.

3. Finish this sentence:

“The woman I am becoming is ready to ______.”

Don't overthink it.

Just notice what comes up.

Because defining who you are isn't about putting yourself into another box.

It's about knowing yourself well enough to recognize what fits, what doesn't, what you need, what you value, and what you might be ready for next.

And maybe that's the question I want to leave you with today:

Who are you, and who are you becoming?

Because you get to keep discovering the answer.

And you get to choose what you do with what you discover. 💛

Episode 7 - 🎙️Accepting The Layers Aspects of Yourself Empowerment Tuesday with Melissa Crook

Resources:

Your Ways to Engage with this FEEL conversation:

1 . Name one layer of yourself you've struggled to accept.

It might be a character trait. An experience. A choice. A season. A physical part of yourself. An earlier version of you.

Just name it.

2. Ask yourself, “What changes when I approach this part of myself with curiosity instead of judgment?”

Not: How do I make this disappear?

Not: What's wrong with me?

Just: What can I understand about myself here?

3. Identify one way that layer has shaped who you are today.

Maybe it taught you something.

Maybe it clarified a value.

Maybe it changed a boundary.

Maybe it helped you recognize something you don't want anymore.

Maybe you're still figuring out what it means.

Episode 9 - 🎙️Today Is My Birthday! How Do You Celebrate Yourself?

Your Ways to Engage with this FEEL conversation:

So wherever you are in your relationship with birthdays, aging, or being celebrated, I want to leave you with three things to consider.

First: What do you appreciate about who you are, not what you do or accomplish?

Think about your character traits

Who are you that you genuinely appreciate?

Second: What actually makes you feel celebrated, and have you communicated that?

Not what you're supposed to want.

Not what would look impressive on social media.

Not what somebody else would choose.

What feels like celebration to you?

Third: What's one way you can celebrate yourself without waiting for somebody else to do it for you?

It doesn't have to be a big trip (but it can be if you want :)).

It doesn't have to cost anything.

Maybe it's your favorite meal.

Maybe it's music you love.

Maybe it's time with people who make you feel most like yourself.

Maybe it's being completely alone.

The point isn't what you choose.

The point is that it feels like you.

Your Ways to Engage with this FEEL conversation:

1. Identify one “supposed to” in your life.
Where are you making a choice because it's genuinely what you want, and where are you doing something because you believe it's what a woman, mother, partner, professional, friend, or successful person is supposed to do?

2. Ask: “Whose expectation is this?”
Is it yours? Your family's? Your workplace's? Your community's? Something you absorbed years ago and have never reconsidered?

3. Choose one expectation to examine instead of automatically following.
You don't have to immediately change anything. Start by asking: Does this still align with who I am, what I value, and how I want my life to FEEL?

Your Ways to Engage with this FEEL conversation:

1. Look at your calendar. Where have you made room for yourself? Notice whether your needs are reflected in how you're spending your time.

2. Ask: “What keeps me from prioritizing my own care?” Is it guilt, other people's expectations, overcommitting, or believing everything else must come first?

3. Choose one way to make room for yourself this week. It doesn't have to be big. Identify something that nourishes you and intentionally give it space in your calendar.
