Patricia J. Rullo is the author of many healthcare books, including the recent Healthcare and Hospital Hazards. She is the author of two additional books: Highway to Heart, Humor, and Honesty in Healthcare, a patient safety/charity anthology, and Speak Up and Stay Alive, a hospital survival guide for patient advocates. She is a speaker and trainer on patient safety and hosts and produces three syndicated radio shows. (Speak Up and Stay Alive, Authors on Fire, and Eleven Cats Radio).

Pat is a seasoned audiobook narrator and producer and offers her radio experience to help othershost their own podcasts.

She founded the Firebird Book Awards and the Positive Change Podcast Awards. The submission fees are tax-deductible donations that contribute to Pat’s mission. This mission transforms homeless shelters for women and children by providing them with handmade pillowcases and bedtime books.

She recently released Firebird Inked, a self-publishing service for nonfiction authors that covers everything from editing to cover design, formatting and Amazon uploading, all while protecting your royalties.

Rescued by 13 cats, Pat is quite an accomplished litter box scooper.
