Episode 5: Embracing the Body Healing Itself with Heather Dillard

Heather Dillard has spent the past 20+ years learning how to be a friend to her body through holistic wellness practices, and she loves working with women through one-on-one online coaching so that their bodies can heal themselves, too.

Heather is the owner and founder of Desert Bloom Bakery (specializing in gluten-free and dairy-free baked goods, mixes, and online baking classes) and Restored Holistic Coaching (helping women with autoimmune struggles and anxious nerves to regain inner calm and learn to heal themselves). She is also a licensed therapist and adjunct psychology instructor. She has over ten years of professional experience and training in mental health counseling and trauma-informed care.

Ways to Engage: Have you seen the effects that food has, not only on your body, but on your mental health as well? What are some patterns you see? Do you keep track of what you eat and the ingredients in the food? Why or why not? After listening to Heather’s episode, it might be helpful to reevaluate your diet to see what is working and what is not for all aspects of your health.
